Dr. Kinga

  • Kinga Pluta received her M.D. degree from Albany Medical College where she was recipient of the Kosciuszko Foundation Scholarship.

  • She completed a double residency at the University of Connecticut and is Board Certified in both Pediatrics and Adult Internal Medicine. Before coming to Amherst Family Practice, she cared for children and adults at a Hartford Hospital-associated practice in Connecticut.

  • She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Siena College in Loudonville, New York, where she was a Presidential Scholar majoring in Biology with a minor in Philosophy - a wonderful combination for being a doctor.

  • She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a Member of the American College of Physicians.

  • She enjoys the great outdoors, spending time with her husband and two young children, and reading (some of her favorite books were recommended by her patients).
